The Moon and Sixpence is situated at the extension of Beyers Naude (M5) on the border of the Cradle of Mankind in what is referred to as the Wedding Mile. We offer two unique wedding venue options and luxury 4 star accommodation together with extraordinary service and attention to detail.
Our Garden weddings are a sought-after alternative and offer secret hideaway gardens for your guests to enjoy and special opportunities for your photographer to capture the magical moments.
We cater for small and large conferences, break-aways, team building, executive board meetings or any special event such as birthday parties, family get togethers and company year-end functions.
Every Sunday from 12:00 until 16:00, our restaurant and gardens are open for a delicious Tapas meal or order a picnic basket to enjoy in the quiet of our gardens.
Farthing Chapel and Hall
Nestled between formal parterre gardens, lavender bushes and Mediterranean architecture, the Farthing Chapel is unique, quaint and filled with country character and charm. Lanterns light up the gardens in the evening leading you to Farthing hall which seats up to 120 guests in comfort with a dance floor and large wood fire place.
St Francis Chapel and Florin Hall
Set amongst the lush gardens with tall oak trees, colorful impatience, arum lilies and foxgloves, the beautifully crafted stained glass windows greet you as you enter the St Francis chapel. The Florin Hall compliments the chapel beautifully with exposed wooden beams and open fireplace, it seats up to 160 guests with a dance floor, exquisite gardens.
The Moon and Sixpence is ideally situated just 15 min from Lanseria Airport, and 30 min from Sandton. Our conference centre has all the standard equipment, luxurious 4 star accommodation and great food. We can accommodate up to 32 delegates in our Board Room, and up to 100 in either our Florin or Farthing Venues.
We cater for executive board meetings, conferences, team building events or any other business function break away.
