We have two separate and unique wedding venues on the estate, which will you choose?


Are you planning your wedding day and needing to find the perfect venue to start your new journey together…. The Moon and Sixpence would like to introduce you to some of our packages and options.

Are you looking for a smaller wedding with lots of character and charm.  Large wooden doors below a bell tower. Those doors opens up as the bride walks down a carpet scattered in rose petals.  The candlelit chandelier hangs low in a  double volume chapel that oozes old world romance and mystery. (see Farthing chapel)

Or maybe you would like a larger chapel with stained glass windows and views over the countryside and of course a beautiful thatch ceiling for that elegant country feel.  All leading out into terraced gardens that offer the photographer a world of options. (see St Francis chapel and Floren Hall)

Each of these options has it’s own reception hall – each with their own unique charm, large wood fire places and a dance floor that promises to make dreams come true. Our experienced staff will put together a wedding venue package to suit your preferences and budget.

Wedding Planning & Function Coordinating

We employ a team of function co-ordinators at The Moon & Sixpence who will be your regular contact regarding the actual function day, wedding checklist, invoicing, telephone support, menu and final sign-off meeting. The initial décor meeting with our wedding consultant, Yolanda or Monette from EXQUISITE FLOWERS & DÉCOR HIRE, is a must and will provide you with invaluable information about our regular service providers, décor ideas, candles and overlays.

To assist you in planning your perfect wedding, these initial meetings are included in your venue hire cost. You are welcome to organize your own service providers, but they must familiarize themselves with the venue before hand, as to know what equipment to bring along
